About Us
The mission of our organization is to unite students from diverse majors in tackling sustainability challenges, while raising awareness and engagement for the HonorsX program at San Jose State University. We aim to cultivate student leadership, promote equitable education, and build a support network for current and prospective HonorsX students. Our club seeks to maintain a lasting connection among HonorsX members, while also fostering a welcoming community to attract new participants. By creating interdisciplinary leadership opportunities, we ensure students from all academic backgrounds develop the skills to collaborate and thrive in a diverse, interdisciplinary environment. In addition, we would actively collaborate with sustainability-focused organizations on campus, organizing volunteer projects and events that contribute to a more sustainable campus and community. Through these efforts, we strive to build a more inclusive and supportive academic culture that emphasizes understanding, empathy, and collective growth.
