About Us
The Society of Latino Engineers and Scientists (SOLES), a dual student chapter of MAES (Latinos in Engineering and Science) and SHPE (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers), is a recognized student organization associated with the Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering at San Jose State University. SOLES members are in direct exposure to professional development through informational sessions from industry partners, opportunities to attend national conferences from MAES and SHPE, and gain industry exposure through company tours/panels.
